The Pro Ride Adventure Snowmobile Tour is our high-adrenaline package for riders looking to leave the trail behind and explore the boundless terrain within our 10,000+ acre private backcountry playground. Get ready to be challenged as your Team Thunderstruck guide is going to be pushing you and your group to ride in meadows, tree lines, and areas with complex terrain features to build new skills and help you get the most out of your day on snow! No two Pro Ride Adventures are the same, as this experience is specifically-tailored to each groups’ needs. Whether you’re a first-time rider or a Pro, the Pro Ride Adventure caters to all ability levels and is bound to keep you coming back for more!

To Know – Pro Ride Adventure:

Tour Times:

• Arrive at our shop (2740 Lincoln Avenue Steamboat Springs, CO) at 8:30am.
• The shuttle Bus leaves at 9:00am sharp from our office.
• Tour is from 9:30-3:30pm.
• Shuttle Returns to Steamboat office by 4:30pm.

Note: Please do not be late or else you will miss your tour. Our busses depart promptly at the above listed times.

Please be sure to arrive at our offices with enough time to sign waiver paperwork & get everything ready with your snow gear before we depart for our private riding area. Arriving earlier if you have need extra time suiting up is a good idea, as our busses depart for the trailhead promptly at their scheduled times. Clients should bring all of the snow gear that they currently have with them (Regular snow boots or Snowboard boots, goggles, gloves, facemask, jacket, snow pants, base layer clothing, hand warmers if desired, etc.) We provide head-to-toe gear outfitting (excluding gloves) and will have you covered for any gear you're missing at no additional cost!

If you are bringing your own Personally-Owned Snowmobile, please call us ahead of time for additional information about transporting your machine.

Transportation/Shuttle Bus Service:

Need transportation from where you’re staying at? No problem! We now offer transportation for all guests that need it at no additional cost.

If needed, our shuttle bus will pick you up directly from your lodging and bring you to our offices (2740 Lincoln Avenue Steamboat Springs, CO) where you will get prepared for your tour. Please indicate whether you need to make use of our complimentary lodging shuttle during the booking process.

All clients will ride a complimentary shuttle bus from our offices in Steamboat Springs to our Trailhead. Please note that we do not allow Pro Ride Adventure clients using Thunderstruck's Snowmobiles to drive themselves to our Trailhead.

Lodging Shuttle Pickup Times:

Pro Ride Adventure Clients can expect pickup from their lodging accommodations between 8:00 – 8:30am.

Operator Age Policy:

The minimum age to be a driver/operator of a snowmobile in Colorado is 15 years old. The snowmobiles used on the Pro Ride Adventure are very powerful machines that are less appropriate for most younger riders than our Trail Snowmobiles.

Cancellation Policy:

Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel up to 72 hours prior to your reservation for a full, 100% refund. That’s right, no questions asked; cancel for any reason 72 hours prior to your reservation with no penalty.

Cancellations within 72 hours of your reservation cannot be refunded for any reason. This includes closed roads, cancelled/delayed flights, injury or sickness (including Covid), death, weather and snow conditions.

If snow conditions are not adequate for tours, Thunderstruck Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour. In this event, we will make every effort to reschedule your tour, or provide a full refund.

Our Shuttle Busses depart for our Trailhead promptly at their scheduled times. If you are late for your tour and miss the shuttle bus, we will not issue refunds. We will make every effort possible to reschedule you in the event this happens.
